By CDK Weekly • Issue #19 • View online
Heya - time for the 19th issue of CDK Weekly. We’ve seen a new release of the AWS CDK (v1.58), CDK8s (v0.27.0) and the Terraform CDK (v0.0.14) with support for Terraform 0.13.
I’m super excited about the community driven CDK Day 2020, which took shape over the last few weeks and got announced on Wednesday. You can submit a talk proposal and get your tickets already.
In addition to that, Matthew, Mike and I joined forces to build out as a central hub for the emerging CDK ecosystem. You’re more than welcome to join us for some chit-chat in Slack and to participate in shaping the project itself.
ps: Any questions or content suggestions around the CDK? Just hit reply or ping me on Twitter :)

I wrote raw CloudFormation today for the first time in like 6 months. Using #cdk has ruined the fun I use to feel writing yaml. The magic is lost
"Give me a c6g.large spot instance with EIP association and no price interruption for up to 6 hours and terminate it thereafter"

"Sure thing!" 😎
