Heya, this is the 4th edition of CDK Weekly. The “monocdk” RFC got merged, so it’s likely we’ll see monolithic packaging for the next major release of the AWS CDK. That’s pretty great from my point of view, since it’ll streamline the developer experience. No more 20 times “yarn add @aws-cdk/…”. Plus, dependency declaration for tools plugging in to the CDK becomes a lot easier.
Speaking for CDK plugins, I’ve released Cloud Patrol this week. Find this, a full blown micro service platform and more in the curated content below.
